Php 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
Php 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
Php 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
This week both of the courses I'm taking at the local community college are on the topic of "paraphilias" and homosexuality, and it really got to me. I feel like I'm wallowing in the sewers and have been feeling depressed. This morning I awoke thinking about the words in Philippians 4:8 and it wasn't reprimanding, it was a comforting voice, a voice that said, "I am still here". After I finish the few courses that I am taking here, I have to search out a good college where I can continue on towards a master's degree, but I will look, with the Lord's guidance and assistance, for a place which teaches things that are more in line with Philippians 4:8.
I'm so glad for your being comforted...He's good like that;)
