Past Traumas and Wounds That Haven’t Healed

I’ve been binge watching Chynna Phillips Baldwin (from musical group Wilson Phillips) YouTube videos. Chynna came to be saved in 2006 and started a YouTube video channel two or three years ago to share her testimony and share Jesus and sometimes has guests over to share their story. She was involved in the new age movement prior to becoming saved so I do share an affinity with her. She is very open and transparent, she shares her struggles, her doubts and fears and some of the things in the past that she kept hidden and compartmentalized….shame…mistrust…anger…sorrow…things we probably all can relate to. In this one she’s taking her little pooch for a walk as she shares a painful memory and the fact that Jesus washes us from the guilt and shame with His own blood. I hope this message will reach someone who has hidden hurts that need Jesus’ healing touch.

“Peace of Christ!”

  4. Hi Laurie, yes, the Lord uses people of all kinds ☺️ I think many in Hollywood circles are afraid to talk about faith in Jesus. Chynna is very bold and honest to everyone she meets. I love her videos ❤️ Thanks for coming by and for your words of encouragement Laurie, your blog is wonderful as well.

  5. Hi Susan,
So true -- many in Hollywood and other high places are ashamed of their faith, when they could be using their position to spread His Word, like Chynna. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. Merry Christmas and God bless!

    1. Merry Christmas ❤️ I’ve been praying for more of this type of boldness while still showing the love of Christ who sees our souls that He loves and wants to save, as He did with the woman at the well and the woman caught in adultery. We tend to focus too much on sin, Jesus looked at broken people. πŸ™‚❤️πŸŽ„πŸ™
